1. Claim Submission

Claims for lost or damaged shipments must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the recorded delivery date.

Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

All claims must be submitted in writing via email to:

2. Required Documentation

To process a claim, the following documentation is required:

  • Clear photos of damaged items
  • Clear photos of the outer packaging and internal packaging materials
  • Shipping receipt or tracking number
  • Detailed description of the damage or loss
  • Proof of item value (invoice or purchase receipt), if applicable

Failure to provide complete documentation may result in denial of the claim.

3. Compensation

Compensation is limited and subject to investigation and approval by Samsung Post.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Compensation, if approved, shall not exceed the declared value of the shipment.
  • If no declared value was provided, compensation may be limited to a standard maximum amount determined by Samsung Post.

Samsung Post is not responsible for:

  • Damage resulting from improper packaging
  • Loss or damage caused by customs inspections
  • Seizure by customs authorities
  • Fragile items not properly protected
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

4. Investigation Process

Claims are subject to review and may require coordination with airlines, logistics partners, or Korea Post.

Processing time may vary depending on the nature of the claim.
